Yesterday, our construction crews completed a temporary wall sectioning off the Burnham (Ottawa Street/West) side of the library. On the first floor, they will be clearing out what was the AV room, Joliet Room, Circulation desk, Storytime Room and Youth Services Office to be converted into the new Local History area, Adult computer area, a meeting room, Adult Services workroom and study rooms.
On the second floor, the Business Office, Technology Office and Adult Services offices will be converted into storage, meeting rooms, a conference room, and the Administrative and Youth Services workrooms/offices.
The Ottawa Street Entrance is now closed and the Chicago Street Entrance is open.
