Construction Updates and Photos

Week 5 of Phase One! This week, crews worked on shoring up the beams in the ceiling and installing door frames before they can drywall. You can also see the hole that was dug on the Clinton Street side of the building, which will be used as a new staff entrance.

Yesterday, our construction crews completed a temporary wall sectioning off the Burnham (Ottawa Street/West) side of the library. Ottawa Street Entrance and Lobby

Beginning Monday, May 3, the Ottawa Street Entrance and lobby will be closed due to construction. Please use the Chicago Street entrance on the east side of the building. The Circulation desk and self checkouts will be near the Chicago Street entrance, right when you walk in.
